I take an interest in multi-disciplinary research areas that merge art, science and technology. My very early research activity started from completing a master by research thesis at National University of Singapore in the area of enhancing user experience via aesthetics driven viewpoint evaluation methods for video cameras. Subsequently it led to receiving an international research scholarship to pursue a PhD degree at University of Sydney. Since graduating from Sydney in 2014, my research has evolved into the area of visual analytics, information visualisation and user interaction design, especially areas such as immersive visualisation, mixed and extended reality (e.g. VR/AR) through employment held with LIRMM, France and CSIRO, Australia.
